New York–based US–Japan sports agency to lead overseas player identification and evaluation for the Women's Japan Basketball League club.
NEW YORK — June 24, 2026 — Sporta Japan Corporation, a New York–based sports business agency bridging the US and Japanese markets, today announced an international scouting partnership with the Toyota Boshoku Sunshine Rabbits, a professional women's basketball club competing in Japan's Women's Japan Basketball League (WJBL).
Under the partnership, Sporta Japan will serve as the club's international scouting partner — identifying, evaluating, and recommending overseas talent, and building a global pipeline that connects the WJBL club to player markets in North America and beyond. Sporta Japan brings its on-the-ground network across US collegiate and professional basketball, combined with a deep understanding of the Japanese game, to help the Sunshine Rabbits compete at the highest level.
