Since 2023, Sporta Japan has partnered with Sun Chlorella Corporation, a major health food company engaged in a wide range of sports-related businesses, to plan and operate GLOBALLERS, a junior high school basketball project launched by Sun Chlorella with the goal of developing future NBA players.

Now in its seventh year, the project held tryouts in March across three locations—Fukuoka, Kansai, and Kanto—and received approximately 650 applications, the highest number in its history.

Following the tryouts, 15 players who passed the selection process participated in two domestic training camps. From those players, the following nine were selected as members of the U.S. tour.

In early July, the nine selected players will take part in a variety of activities, including workouts with local skills coaches, visits to top local high schools, and participation in a high-level tournament in Irvine, California.
