Sporta Japan Corporation announces that Asami Morita has stepped down from her role as Supervisor of “PROJECT GLP ~Japan Got Next~,” an initiative supporting Japanese women’s basketball players pursuing opportunities overseas.
She has recently been appointed as an Assistant Coach in an NCAA Division I program, and we are excited to see her continued success at the highest level of collegiate athletics. In light of this new appointment, she will be stepping down from her position as Supervisor of the project.
Although her tenure was relatively short, she made significant contributions to the development of the project, including player evaluation and providing strategic guidance for athletes aiming to advance to the NCAA. We sincerely appreciate her dedication and support.
All members of the project wish her continued success in her future endeavors.
